Petit Palais , whose name means Small Palace, is a museum that was built as an exhibition hall for the Universal Exhibition of 1900 in Paris. Today the Petit Palais houses the Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris (City of Paris Museum of Fine Arts).

 The Petit Palais was designed by Charles Girault, who arranged it around a semi-circular courtyard and garden, the same way as the Grand Palais nearby.

The exhibits of the Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris is divided into two sections: the Dutuit Collection of medieval and Renaissance objets d'art, and the Tuck Collection of 18th century furniture and objets d'art.
